The role of art and culture is gaining importance in connecting and forming a bridge in a polarising world. Critical messages around growing inequality, climate change and social justice packaged in 'artivism' (combination of 'art and activism') is often more effective in stimulating and deepening dialogues and conversation than many a campaign. Studies have also shown this, precisely because artivism can broaden and change your field of vision in a playful way.

To strengthen food artivism, we are proudly partnering with Moleskine Foundation's Creativity Pioneers programme, which supports organisations using creativity to drive social change. The 2023 call for applications runs from April 24 through May 15 (11PM CET)  and can be accessed here in English, French, Spanish and Italian.

The call is global and covers creativity in all domains. HFHP is funding five grants worth €5,000 each for groups in Europe who are active in the food and agriculture space. Youth-led organisations and those serving underserved communities and minorities will be prioritised.

Please do share the call among your networks - or cook up some funky ideas around how change can happen or be represented in the food space!
