Sustain, is a UK alliance of organisations and communities working for change in the food and farming system. Through their campaign Food for the Planet, they advocate for sustainable food places and support local authorities, businesses, and organisations to tackle the climate and nature emergency by implementing simple actions in the food and farming system.
Two priority areas for these grants are: 1) local climate-friendly advertising policies and 2) stopping factory farming, in particular through planning policies.
The £5,000 micro-grants are open to local food partnerships and authorities, campaign groups or community groups based in Europe so we warmly encourage you to apply! The deadline for applications is the 4th of June!.
